Shirley J. Kvederas
Shirley J. Kvederas, 92, of Hobe Sound, died June 9, 2011, at her home. Born in New York City, she lived in Hobe Sound for eight years, coming from Colchester, Conn. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Colonel Robert A. Kvederas of Colchester; a daughter Carol A. Gallagher-Lopinto of Hobe Sound; seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Kvederas, in 1990; a sister, Dorothy Nielsen, and a granddaughter, Catherine Kvederas. Most important to her was her family and her dog. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.
