Blue Devils softball establish early dominance

What a great Saturday at JV Reed Park with Girls Softball Minors kicking off their first game of the season against Jensen Beach on Saturday. Taking the lead 14 to 6 – all the girls played a great game!
Highlights of the game include Katie Yuskas and Samantha Williams with nice long drives to the outfield, and Devon Clowdus playing great defense at first base with two outs! Star catcher Carolyn Nolan provided the target for team pitchers Chloe Griffin and Emily Leimer. Congratulations girls and thanks to our dedicated coaches David, Moriah and Autumn!
Wednesday, March 9, we had a great game in Palm City winning 20 to 0. Highlights for batting include team leader Emily Leimer with 5 RBI’s (runs batted in) and following right behind is Katie Yuskas with 4 RBI’s. 
Pitcher Shannon Norton threw 6 strikes on 11 batters, and Chloe Griffin finished the game off throwing 2 strikes on 6 batters in 1.5 innings! Way to go Angel with the play to 1st from outfield for the out!
Saturday, March 12, we played Jensen Beach and won 19 to 0. All the girls played great! Emily Leimer and Chloe Griffin pitched. Sydney Greene got an outfield hit and several great plays were made to 1st base Devon Clowdus, who got the outs.
